Ann Ploeger: The Woman Who Was Alive There

October 6, 2017

First Friday Reception: November 3, 6-8pm

From the Artist:
In this time of rampant misogyny and hate, I needed to celebrate the strength and beauty around me. The work is a love letter to the women in my life and to photographic portraiture.

Artist Bio:
Ann Ploeger’s artwork has a unique sense of time, place and narrative. Large format prints of Ploeger’s work have been exhibited at the Portland Art Museum, Marylhurst Art Gym, Pushdot Studio, and Blue Sky Gallery. In 2007 William, James & Company published a monograph of Ann’s work titled, Portraits. She has been commissioned throughout the West Coast for various private and non-profit projects. Her work may be found at www.annploeger.com.
