September’s show features unique photo illustrations from Miglavs’ six-year project that was displayed through July at the United Nations. The work depicts the mysterious myths and life-altering dreams of remote endangered indigenous African tribes. Miglavs created photo illustrations from the detailed descriptions provided by chiefs, shamans, witch doctors and tribal elders. Miglavs records cultural stories and traditions never before heard by the outside world. The project will be published in book form with some of the contributing writers being Alice Walker, Wade Davis and Malidoma Patrice Somé.
